Lumber Tycoon 2 vehicles

Your first car is the Utility Vehicle, $400 at Wood R Us.

You need a plot of land first: the car comes in a box, and opening it gives you a spawner to place on your land. The first car appears on its own; after that, the spawner charges $8 each time you respawn it. Bigger trucks and the trailers are sold at Boxed Cars, across the bridge.

Respawning puts a fresh vehicle on its spawner and removes the old one, wherever it was. It is how you get a truck back from the bottom of a cliff, and a spawner under your conveyors lets you reload it at your sawmill.

Getting to Boxed Cars

  1. Drive to the bridge and pay the bridge man $100 to lower it.
  2. Follow the road through the Safari, heading east, to the square with the shops.
  3. Boxed Cars is the grey building with its name in big letters on the front.

Inside, each truck and trailer stands beside its box. Buy the box, carry it home in the truck you already have, open it on your land and place the spawner.

Which to buy next

The Utility Vehicle XL is the cheap upgrade: a slightly bigger bed and the most speed of anything on wheels. Val’s All-Purpose Hauler carries the most, and a trailer on the back of any truck adds more room still. For steep, narrow trips like the path up to the Frost Wood, a small truck is easier to drive.

Vehicles you can no longer buy

  • Sleigh: was $32,000 at Boxed Cars. A Christmas gift, no longer sold.
  • Toboggan: was $10,200 at Boxed Cars. A Christmas gift, no longer sold; it has no spawner, so it cannot be respawned.
  • Snowmobile: was $130,600 at Boxed Cars. A Christmas gift, no longer sold.
  • ATV: was $148,002 at Boxed Cars. A Christmas gift, no longer sold.

The truck shop from April

Videos of a new truck shop full of new vehicles, next to new desert biomes, are April Fools pranks, not a real update. None of those trucks are among the vehicles you can buy; the list above is what the shops sell.
