The Glorbaxe in Lumber Tycoon 2
Probably not from the start: the first steps stopped working when The Hunt ended.
Players report that since 10:00 AM Pacific on 28 September, when The Hunt: Roblox 20 ended, the Skeleton no longer talks and Purple Bags no longer open, so a new run cannot get past step 3. Nobody has said yet what happens to the later steps, and new badges have slowed to a trickle rather than stopped.
If you already carried the three items out of the Glorb Cavern, putting them on the Den plates (step 8) is the one thing left to try. If you have the badge but not the Chest of Overflowing Loot, go to the 2015 island of The Hunt hub: players with the badge were still claiming it after the event ended.

The Glorbaxe is the reward for Lumber Tycoon 2’s secret badge in The Hunt, the one whose Roblox description reads “The glorb sees you. You see the glorb.” It costs nothing in the game’s money, has no boxed form, and on ordinary wood only one axe in the game cuts faster.
How fast it cuts
- 1.8damage per swing
- 0.38sbetween swings
- 10units of reach
- 4.736damage per second
On ordinary wood only The Many Axe beats it, and The Many Axe can no longer be obtained either. It passes the Rukiryaxe, which used to be the best general axe you could earn in the Den, and the End Times Axe on anything that is not Phantom Wood.
| Axe | DPS | Damage | Range | How you get it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Many Axe | 5.37 | 10.2 | 16 | No longer obtainable |
| Glorbaxe | 4.736 | 1.8 | 10 | The Hunt secret quest; stopped working for new runs when the event ended |
| Rukiryaxe | 4.2 | 1.68 | 9 | Den quest: Lightbulb, Bag of Sand, Can of Worms |
| End Times Axe | 3.95 | 1.58 | 9 | Den quest, only on Halloween |
| Silver Axe | 3.33 | 1.6 | 10 | Wood R Us, $2,040 |
Figures for the End Times Axe are for ordinary wood; on Phantom Wood it is the only axe that works at all. Every other axe, sortable by speed and reach, is on the axe table.
The quest, step by step
This is the route as it stood from 25 September, after the quest was made easier on its first day: a truss up to the cave, a red light inside, no TNT at the shrine and one glorb instead of two. Tick each step as you go; your ticks live in this page’s link, so you can copy it to a friend or come back to it.
You need any axe, a vehicle with a truck bed (the Utility Vehicle from Wood R Us works) and land to spawn it on. The quest can be done on foot, but carrying three items from a mountain cave to the Taiga is slow.
Chuck wood into the repurposed Snowglow Bin outside Wood R Us until the counter on its front is full; a few Oak trees are enough. You get a Purple Bag and the You helped Geck! badge, which is The Hunt’s ordinary quest in this game (Geck’s quest has its own page).
Fill it several times. The glorb you need is not in every bag, though after enough bags without it the next one is guaranteed to hold it.

The bin with the gauge on its front, and the NPC beside it. The Lost Cave is a small hole in the cliffs to the left of the Taiga entrance. A truss runs up the cliff face, and a dim red light marks the path inside. It is still very dark: turn your screen brightness up or carry a Worklight from Wood R Us (how to switch it on).
Follow the cave north to the Skeleton and pick “I seek permission to unwrap the object.” Permission counts only for the save slot you are playing on, so load the slot you will finish on before you talk to him.
Walk out rather than resetting your character: a reset drops every axe you are carrying.

The two answers at the bottom left; the second one gives permission. Open the bag on your own land, inside a small walled square so nothing rolls away. It releases two to five glorbs. Press E on one and it shrinks and changes colour; the one you want goes lavender, then dark purple, then orange.
Keep pressing E on that glorb until it is small and orange. Most guides count 17 presses from the start, a few say 16 or 18; stop on a small orange glorb whichever count you land on.

A shrunken orange glorb, with a row of recorded colour sequences behind it. Take the glorb up the Mountainside into Rock Bridge Cave. An entrance in the back wall leads to the Shrine of Sight; throw the glorb into the right-hand hole and the door opens. The glorb is used up. Vehicle headlights help here: press L.
Through the door are a Fancy Lightbulb, a Boutique Bag of Sand and a Deluxe Can of Worms. Whoever touches them first owns them, so pick them up yourself and load them into your truck.

The purple floor of the cavern past the shrine door. The Den is in the Taiga, under a small red eagle symbol on the rock wall. Press E on the trapdoor in the snow; it stays open for a few seconds, long enough to chuck the three items down. The Scaffold keeps the boulders off the Taiga road, so you need no dynamite.
Three NPCs sit at a table inside. Put the Fancy Lightbulb on Rukiryo’s plate (right), the Boutique Bag of Sand on ZolarKeth’s (middle) and the Deluxe Can of Worms on Gusmanak’s (left). They are easiest to line up if you unbox them on the plates.
The Glorbaxe drops through a hole in the ceiling. Pick it up and the You got glorbed! badge goes to you and to the players in the Den you have given permissions to. Grab it quickly: it lands unclaimed.

The three boxes on their plates at the Den table.
The axe at the bottom of the shaft, with the pick-up prompt at the bottom left.
When a step will not work
- No truss on the cliff, or the shrine door stays shut
- You are on an old server that still runs the version from before the quest was made easier. Join a different server: players on the newer versions got through, the older ones did not.
- The Purple Bag plays an error sound
- You have not spoken to the Skeleton on this save slot. Permission does not carry across slots.
- The glorb rolled away or got stuck
- Open bags inside a walled square on your land. A glorb that rolls off a mountain is gone; open another bag.
- A friend in the Den did not get the badge
- The badge goes to players you have given permissions to. Set theirs before you place the last item.
How the quest looked on its first day
The first players to finish needed three sticks of TNT, a long plank cut on a sawmill, a Worklight, and two small orange glorbs thrown into both holes of the shrine at once. That route and the pixel-art puzzle that gave the glorb away are on The Hunt page.
